Nearly ten years ago I found myself walking into Garbolino’s and greeted warmly by Monique. This started a unique shopping adventure & one that did not require shopping in a mall. I dislike shopping, so investigating a boutique was intriguing.
Monique really knows her merchandise which she has personally purchased from all around the world. I target items made in USA, but appreciate Italy, Greece, Turkey. Monique will receive a certain piece and call or text me to see if I am interested. This means a great deal since I am 9 hours from the shop.
Monique combines her knowledge of the clothing and applies to the customers body type, their style, comfort, and environment. She has even influenced me to step out of my conservative safety zone and have fun with style.
Since Garbolino’s spans many age groups Monique can easily advise when purchasing gifts. She has been 100% correct when it comes to gift giving for my nieces 24 – 31 years of age. Recently I asked for an item for a 70 year old hip friend and of course she suggested a Capote Cheetah Teddy Coat.
I feel good in the clothing purchased from Garbolino’s and I never see another woman wearing the same clothing. Additionally, I still own and wear the first piece from ten years ago! That says a lot for the quality of the merchandise found at Garbolino’s.

It’s a small boutique. I’ve always shopped “small” for the majority of my clothes ever since I started shopping!
You get personalized service. The more you shop, the more familiar Monique is to what you are looking for.
I feel RI has limited boutiques like hers.
Monique has clothing that no one else carries. You always find something different.
Last but not least, what brought me into the store about 15 years ago. I was looking for a pair of jeans. She looked at me, handed me a pair, said “ try these on”. They fit perfectly!! I’ve been shopping there ever since!
